Start a session

“New session” opens at the head of the sessions, in a patient’s record or on an appointment of the agenda; from a record or an appointment, the patient is already linked. Otherwise “Link a patient” searches by name, date of birth or phone, or creates the patient, at the latest before a document about them is validated.

In any order, you write or dictate a note, import or photograph a document, or record the consultation. Each item shows in time order, with its author. Doctalis reads the text of imported documents, handwriting excepted, and gives the session a title drawn from its material, which you rename by clicking it: Enter saves, Escape cancels.

A session is never closed: what arrives later joins it. While none of its documents is validated, its patient can be changed from its menu, and its practitioner can delete it; after that, it stays with the record.
