Keyboard shortcuts
On a computer, press “?” to see the shortcuts of the screen you are on; the Help menu offers them too, under “Keyboard shortcuts”. Anywhere, Ctrl K (⌘ K on a Mac) opens the search and N starts a “New” session, once you said whether a change not saved may be lost. In the lists of sessions, patients and documents, “/” puts the cursor in the search, the ↑ and ↓ arrows move from row to row, Home and End go to the first and the last, and Enter opens the row.
In a session, Alt R (⌥ R on a Mac) opens the question of consent, as “Record” does: nothing is recorded before you confirm. While recording, Alt P pauses or resumes, and Alt Enter ends it without another question, as the button does, the end announced. On an open document, Ctrl Enter (⌘ Enter) does “Copy and validate”, or “Copy” once validated, with the same questions as the button, even while you correct a section. In the agenda, ← and → move to the previous or next day or week, T comes back to today, and D and W choose the day or the week view. In the settings, Ctrl S (⌘ S) does “Save”.
A single key never acts while you type in a field, nor while a window or a menu is open; Escape closes them as before. A key held down acts once. The shortcuts take no combination your browser uses but two, on purpose: Ctrl S in the settings saves the form rather than the page, and “/” in a list takes the place of Firefox’s quick find.
