Validate a document

A draft is validated once you have read it: “Copy and validate” copies it for your software and validates it in one gesture. The button’s arrow offers export as PDF/A or Word, printing, or validating without copying.

While a field stays “to complete”, validation is refused: complete it in the document. A validated document no longer changes; changing it creates a new version, to validate in turn.

An assistant you have allowed can validate on your behalf; each validation keeps who made it and for whom.
